These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Takeoff Check Pro. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Takeoff Check Pro you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2. Description of the service

Takeoff Check Pro is AI-assisted software that reads construction plan sheets you upload, analyzes them, and produces takeoff quantities and missed-item alerts to help with bid preparation. The Service is a decision-support tool. It is designed to assist a qualified estimator — not to replace professional judgment.

• You are responsible for verifying all results. AI-generated quantities are estimates and must be reviewed by a qualified estimator before being used in any bid, contract, or construction activity.
• We continually improve the Service and may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. User accounts

To use the Service you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on the plan you choose.
• Every plan begins with a 14 day free trial. No charge is made until the trial ends and you choose to continue.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel beforehand.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If we change pricing, we will give you advance notice and changes will not affect your current billing period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or copy the Service without authorization.
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to build a competing product.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Takeoff Check Pro and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the plan files you upload and the takeoff data you generate. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to make it accurate and reliable, we do not warrant that AI results will be error-free or complete. All takeoff results must be independently verified by a qualified estimator before use. We disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Takeoff Check Pro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost bids, cost overruns, or business losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Cancellation and termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You keep access until the end of your current billing period, and your data is retained for 30 days afterward so you can export it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date above and notify you by email or within the app. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
